Reading TechMitra costs you nothing. The site is funded through advertising and, where clearly marked, through affiliate links. Both are explained below.
Ads on the site
The ads you see here come from Google AdSense and carry the label “Advertisements”. We do not pick individual ads, and an ad appearing here does not mean we endorse what it promotes. If an ad strikes you as misleading or offensive, please report it via our contact page. Our Privacy Policy explains how advertising cookies work.
How affiliate links work
Certain links to retailers like Amazon or Flipkart may be affiliate links. When you make a purchase through such a link, we may receive a small commission, and you pay nothing extra. Any article with affiliate links mentions this near the top. Commissions never determine which products we recommend or the order in which we rank them.
Paid or sponsored posts
Payment for rankings or for favourable coverage is something we do not accept. Should we ever run sponsored content, the article will carry a “Sponsored” label at the top.
The owner’s phone shop
The person behind TechMitra also operates Mobivault, a mobile phone shop in Zone 2, MP Nagar, Bhopal. A number of the products we cover are sold there, and in articles where this is relevant, we mention it.
Products lent or given by brands
Whenever a brand loans us a product or gives us one, the article says so and also explains what became of the unit afterwards.
